Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan called the decision of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to lift restrictions on the transit of goods to Armenia an important and positive step.

As Report informs, Nikol Pashinyan made this statement at the V Silk Road Forum in Tbilisi.

"The President of Azerbaijan has taken a very important and positive step. This decision is of great significance for restoring trust and developing economic ties in the region. Peace is extremely important for the entire South Caucasus," said the Armenian Prime Minister.

Pashinyan also noted that the event plays a key role in strengthening cooperation between the countries of the region.

He thanked Georgia for creating a platform for dialogue and cooperation, noting that this initiative contributes to strengthening stability and trust between the countries of the region.
