Parliamentary commission issued a statement on the information campaign against Azerbaijan

The Commission of the Milli Mejlis on Combating Foreign Interference and Hybrid Threats issued a statement on the ongoing information campaign against Azerbaijan.

The document states:

"The Commission of the Milli Mejlis on Combating Foreign Interference and Hybrid Threats, following up on its statement of August 6, 2025, reports that the information campaign against our country, conducted from the territory of one of the neighboring states in the Azerbaijani segment of the Facebook platform, continued throughout August.

The campaign of disinformation nature and provocative content was conducted through recently created pages - Caspian Xəbər, Caspian Times, İşıq Media, Pro Eminent Guild, Next Azerbaijan and other similar ones, managed from a single center.

It should be emphasized that such attempts to interfere in the information space of the Republic of Azerbaijan in order to achieve geopolitical goals are successfully suppressed as a result of joint actions with the relevant state structures.

In addition, we note that based on the results of appeals to Meta, all pages that operated against Azerbaijan were removed.

The Commission on Combating Foreign Interference and Hybrid Threats urges citizens to be vigilant, not to trust false information and to send reports about such pages on social networks to the email address of the Milli Mejlis: [email protected] ", - the statement notes.
