On the US Congress website, the text of the bill to lift restrictions on aid to Azerbaijan has been published
The text of the bill to cancel restrictions on providing assistance to Azerbaijan has been posted on the official website of the US Congress.
As reported by AZERTAG, the text of the document states that since gaining independence, the Republic of Azerbaijan has remained a loyal ally of the US and their partners, implementing important cooperation both in wartime and peacetime. It is noted that Azerbaijan has clearly demonstrated its commitment to peace in the South Caucasus, and the respective borders and territorial integrity are enshrined in a peace agreement negotiated between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
In this regard, according to the bill, Section 907 of the "Freedom Support Act" is annulled, and the relevant paragraph related to this amendment is removed from the content of the law.
The bill was introduced to Congress on December 9 by Democratic Party House Representative Anna Paulina Luna.
