Oath-taking ceremonies were held in the Azerbaijani army

Oath-taking ceremonies for new recruits were held in the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan.

As BAKU.WS reports with reference to the Ministry of Defense, battle flags were ceremonially carried onto the parade ground to the accompaniment of military orchestras, after which the events were declared open.

First, a moment of silence was observed in memory of the national leader of the Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev and the martyrs who gave their lives for the Motherland. The State Anthem of Azerbaijan was performed.

The new recruits solemnly took the military oath, pledging to be faithful to the Motherland.

The ceremonies concluded with a ceremonial march of servicemen past the stands.
