New York skyscrapers are illuminated with the colors of the Azerbaijan flag

In connection with November 8 - Victory Day and November 9 - State Flag Day, the flag of Azerbaijan was projected onto the World Trade Center and the tallest building in Times Square in New York.

As Report informs, the action was carried out on the initiative of the Federation of Azerbaijani Youth of America with the support of the Permanent Mission of Azerbaijan to the UN.

The light show began at 17:00 local time (02:00 Baku time - ed.) and continued for eight hours, repeating every five minutes. The projection of the Azerbaijani flag illuminating the skyscrapers created an impressive spectacle visible from different parts of the city.

New York residents and visitors to the city observed the buildings projecting the Azerbaijani flag with great interest and admiration.
