Uzbekistan possesses a rich historical and cultural heritage of Islamic civilization, which holds great significance for the modern world.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Report, this was stated in the address of the State Advisor to the President of Uzbekistan Muzaffar Komilov to the participants of the International Media Forum "Islamic Civilization: A New Perspective - New Discoveries."

According to him, Islamic civilization has made a significant contribution to the development of science, education, culture, and social thought.

"Islamic civilization is not only history and religion. It is also knowledge, science, education, culture, and the development of society," Komilov noted.

He emphasized the importance of preserving the historical and scientific heritage, as well as presenting it to the international community.

The State Advisor noted that Uzbekistan is the homeland of outstanding scholars and thinkers who made significant contributions to the development of Islamic civilization.

Komilov also highlighted the role of the initiatives of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev in studying and promoting this heritage.

"We must preserve this heritage and pass it on to future generations," he said.
