Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan refuted the information from the Armenian side

The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan refuted the statements of the Armenian side about the alleged shelling of the settlement of Khanazakh by the Azerbaijani army.
This was reported by the media and public relations department of the defense ministry of Azerbaijan.
The information about the shelling of the settlement, which allegedly also damaged the cultural center, is unfounded, does not correspond to reality and is disinformation, the statement says.
"The units of the Azerbaijani army did not open fire in the indicated direction. We once again state that the units of the Azerbaijani army never open fire on civilians and civilian objects.
Our army takes adequate measures only in response to provocations by the Armenian armed forces that shell our positions," the Ministry of Defense noted.
The ministry also emphasized that by spreading such disinformation, the Armenian side is trying to form a false impression among the international community and seeks to hide its provocations, which it has been committing in recent days, regularly subjecting the positions of the Azerbaijani army to shelling from various directions.
