Mikhail Gusman: The Global Media Forum in Shusha is a unique platform for media cooperation

The Shusha Global Media Forum is one of the leading media platforms in the world in terms of collaborative cooperation among media representatives.

This was stated to Report by a participant of the IV Shusha Global Media Forum, international journalist Mikhail Gusman.

According to him, a wide range of issues were raised within the framework of the forum.

"Today, messages of a global nature were voiced by the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev. The head of state devoted more than three hours to the forum participants. No question was left unanswered. The questions asked were of a very diverse nature — they covered both local and regional issues, and included both the European context and international aspects as a whole. It should be noted that all the questions were extremely interesting. Even when seemingly insignificant topics were touched upon, President Ilham Aliyev in his responses elaborated on the issue so comprehensively, presented it with such precision and analytical approach, that the need for additional questions was already eliminated," Gusman said.

He also emphasized that the number of countries represented at the Shusha Global Media Forum demonstrates a growing trend year after year:

"Today it was announced that about 60 countries are represented here and up to 300 delegates are participating. These are very significant figures. There are very few, one could say practically no media platforms in the world that provide representatives of various media from all regions of the world with opportunities for communication, exchange of opinions, and presentations. That is precisely why it is impossible today not to appreciate the significance of this forum," Gusman added.
