Mehriban Aliyeva shared footage of sincere dialogue between Ilham Aliyev and Donald Trump

First Vice President of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva shared footage from New York on her Instagram account, where the 80th session of the UN General Assembly is currently taking place.

As reported by BAKU.WS, in the published video, American leader Donald Trump, touching on the topic of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations during his speech at an event held within the framework of the session, asked President Ilham Aliyev how many years the conflict between the two countries had lasted, suggesting it had gone on for about 20 years.

The head of the Azerbaijani state replied that it was more than 30 years, and expressed gratitude to Trump for his assistance in resolving the conflict, emphasizing that it was concluded precisely thanks to the efforts of the US president. This sincere dialogue was met with thunderous applause from all those present at the event.
