On April 18, within the framework of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum in the Turkish city of Antalya, a panel session was organized on the topic "United for Peace in Palestine: Combating the Destruction of the Education System and Protecting the Future."

As reported by AZERTAC, the First Lady of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva and her daughter Leyla Aliyeva participated in the event.

First, the guests familiarized themselves with the stand of the African Culture House. The purpose of the African Culture House, established in 2016 on the initiative of the First Lady of the Republic of Turkey Emine Erdoğan, is to stimulate the handicraft work of African women, transform their activities into economic value, and strengthen cultural solidarity.

The event, held under the patronage of the First Lady of Turkey Emine Erdoğan, began with a video screening dedicated to Palestine.

Speakers at the event noted that restoring a safe educational environment for children affected by war, strengthening support mechanisms, and ensuring the continuity of education are of strategic importance for the future of the region.

In her speech, the First Lady of the Republic of Turkey Emine Erdoğan expressed confidence that the messages delivered at the event would become a light of hope for a new life for children who have become victims of wars in various regions of the world. Noting that children and youth are the hope and future of a nation, she emphasized the importance of resolutely combating even the most insignificant factors contributing to violence.

A commemorative photo was then taken.

After that, the participants of the event viewed an exhibition narrating the destruction of the education system in Palestine as a result of the conflict.
