MEDIA refuted the fake video on behalf of Samed Seyidov

A fabricated statement, prepared using deep fake technology and not reflecting reality, was distributed on some social media accounts on behalf of the chairman of the Milli Mejlis committee on international relations and inter-parliamentary ties, Samed Seyidov.

As reported to BAKU.WS by the Media Development Agency (MEDİA), this fake video created using artificial intelligence is an example of gross manipulation aimed at misleading the public.

"We urge society to trust only information from official sources, and to obtain information expressing the official position of the state from news agencies and other professional media entities in the country.

We call on citizens of Azerbaijan, journalists, and public activists to always show integrity regarding such cases and remain vigilant in conditions where campaigns based on false and fake information are gaining momentum, as well as trends in creating content using deep fake technologies," the Media Development Agency's statement says.
