Mass resignations in the World Alpagut Federation: Zhalya Akhmedova has resigned

Members of the Executive Committee of the World Alpagut Federation (WAF), as well as the leadership of the organization's representation in Azerbaijan, have resigned.

As Oxu.az reports with reference to the WAF, the federation president Zhalya Ahmedova, first vice-president Konul Nurullayeva, vice-president Anar Gurbanov, head of the Public Relations Department Firuza Iskenderova, and head of the secretariat Tunzalya Azimova announced their resignation.

In addition, the president of the Azerbaijani representation of the WAF Fuad Guliyev, first vice-president Mekhman Safarov, vice-president Davud Davudov, and head of the Volunteer Department Zhalya Mamedova also decided to leave their positions.

The reason for the mass resignations is cited as serious disagreements between the Executive Committee and the Board of the federation regarding the management of the organization and its development strategy.
