Baku TV aired the first episode of the new project Gör nələri qaytarmışıq ("Look What We Have Reclaimed"). It is dedicated to the Agderin district.

This strategic region, which was deprived of peaceful life for nearly 30 years, connects the Kalbajar and Tartar districts with the mountainous part of Karabakh and holds special significance both in terms of agriculture and regional military superiority. The Sarsang reservoir, called the "water artery" of the region, was used by the enemy as a tool of pressure during the years of occupation, but today it once again serves the development of agriculture and the strengthening of energy security in the surrounding districts.

The Agderin district was liberated thanks to the heroism of the Azerbaijani army during the 44-day Patriotic War of 2020. In particular, the liberation in a single day of the village of Talish, as well as the settlement of Sugovushan, whose historical name was restored, became one of the first major strategic successes that influenced the further course of the war.

In the Agderin district, whose administrative status was restored by a decree of President Ilham Aliyev in 2023, roads are being built today, power transmission lines are being laid, and major infrastructure projects are being implemented.

Currently, more than 850 families already reside in the Agderin district, and the process of residents' return continues at an accelerated pace. Thanks to the determination of our state, this land today is not a battlefield, but a living symbol of revival and hope.
