Leyla Aliyeva visited the Louvre Abu Dhabi and the Abrahamic Family House
Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, founder and head of the IDEA Public Association Leyla Aliyeva visited the Louvre Abu Dhabi museum and The Abrahamic Family House on February 5.
As Azertag reports, first Leyla Aliyeva visited the Louvre Abu Dhabi museum.
The Louvre Abu Dhabi, which is the first overseas branch of the famous Paris Louvre museum, is located on Saadiyat Island. The museum, designed by French architect Jean Nouvel, was opened to visitors in November 2017.
The museum's permanent exhibition features numerous works of art reflecting different eras and civilizations. In addition, works provided by partner museums are exhibited in the exhibition halls.
Then Leyla Aliyeva became acquainted with The Abrahamic Family House.
In 2019, the President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan announced the creation of The Abrahamic Family House. This unique complex unites in one space the Ahmed al-Tayeb Mosque, the St. Francis Church, and the Moses Ben Maimon Synagogue. Along with religious buildings, there is also an educational center here, where visitors can become more closely acquainted with different religions.
