Leyla Aliyeva met with the first lady of Oman in Muscat

Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva met with the First Lady of the Sultanate of Oman Sayyida Ahad bint Abdullah bin Hamad Al Busaidi in Muscat.

As AZERTAJ reports, the First Lady of Oman expressed satisfaction with meeting Leyla Aliyeva and emphasized that her public activities are highly valued not only in Azerbaijan but also in many countries, including the Persian Gulf states.

Sayyida Ahad bint Abdullah bin Hamad Al Busaidi emphasized that she is well aware of the activities of the Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in the field of environmental protection, support for art and culture, as well as assistance to children who need special care, and her active participation in charitable initiatives. She also noted her awareness of the traditions of Azerbaijani craft art.

Leyla Aliyeva expressed gratitude for the warm reception, attention and care, noting that she is visiting Oman for the first time, and expressed confidence that the visit will become a stimulus for developing cooperation between relevant organizations of the two countries in the fields of culture, art, carpet weaving and others.

Drawing attention to the rich traditions of Azerbaijan in these areas, Leyla Aliyeva emphasized the importance of exchanging experience.

During the conversation, an agreement was reached on the preparation of joint projects between Azerbaijan and Oman in the above-mentioned areas.
