Leila Aliyeva met with the Director General of the UN Geneva Office Tatiana Valova in Geneva.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to AZERTAG, the meeting, which took place in a productive atmosphere, included an exchange of views on environmental issues of the Caspian Sea, environmental protection matters, and strengthening international cooperation.
On the same day, high-level panel discussions on "Strengthening environmental governance and international cooperation for the protection of the Caspian Sea" were held at the UN headquarters in Geneva, jointly organized by the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the UN Office and other international organizations in Geneva, the Caspisnet scientific network, and the Secretariat of the Tehran Convention.
