Leyla Aliyeva met with Director General of UN Geneva Office

Leyla Aliyeva met with Tatiana Valovaya, Director-General of the UN Geneva Office, in Geneva.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to AZERTAJ, the meeting, which was held in a productive atmosphere, included an exchange of views on environmental problems of the Caspian Sea, environmental protection issues, and strengthening international cooperation.

On the same day, high-level panel discussions on "Strengthening environmental governance and international cooperation for the protection of the Caspian Sea" were held at the UN headquarters in Geneva, jointly organized by the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the UN Office and other international organizations in Geneva, the Caspisnet scientific network, and the Tehran Convention Secretariat.
