Leyla Aliyeva met with a participant of the "Young Beekeeper" project in Gabala

Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, founder and head of the IDEA Public Association Leyla Aliyeva visited the Gafarov family, living in the village of Mykhlygovag in Gabala district, who is one of the participants of the "Young Beekeeper" (Gənc arıçı) project.

As reported by BAKU.WS, during the meeting, a sincere conversation took place with family members, who shared in detail about the experience gained through the project and their plans. The Gafarov family expressed sincere gratitude for the initiative to implement this project and for Leyla Aliyeva's personal visit.

It is worth noting the significant achievements of Lala Gafarova, who produced 40 kg of honey last year, and increased production to 100 kg this year. Additionally, at Leyla Aliyeva's initiative, last month Lala participated in the Honey Festival in Kalbajar, where she presented her products to buyers as a participant of the "Young Beekeeper" project.

The "Young Beekeeper" project has been implemented since 2021 on the initiative of the IDEA Public Association in partnership with the Youth Foundation of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the State Employment Agency, and the public legal entity ABAD. The main goal of the project is to increase the interest of young families in the regions in beekeeping, support their employment and the development of environmentally sustainable small family businesses.
