Lawyer Gyandjiyeva: My client was beaten with batons and tortured with electric shockers

Akhliman Ganjiyev, detained in Yekaterinburg along with other Azerbaijanis during an FSB raid, was subjected to torture.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to the local "Fourth Channel," this was stated by the detainee's lawyer Ilkin Amirov.
According to the lawyer, A.Ganjiyev was subjected to torture with an electric shocker and heavy objects.
"He was even hospitalized due to the beatings. We believe that my client is not involved in committing the crime. He is not guilty. Even after all these tortures and beatings, he did not confess and will not confess," noted I.Amirov.
He added that about 15 people were detained as part of the criminal investigation, and two suspects were killed.
"We will make every effort to prove that people died precisely as a result of torture, and not from chronic diseases," the lawyer concluded.
