As Armenia and Azerbaijan approach the finish line, that is, a legally formalized peace, the hysterics of forces (both internal Armenian and foreign) who do not want wars and enmity in the South Caucasus to become a thing of the past forever are becoming increasingly loud. The intensity of passions and non-selective rhetoric is also fueled by another important factor: the upcoming elections in Armenia, which will determine the country's strategic course for at least the next five years. And if we also take into account their obvious fateful significance for the Armenian people, it would be quite fair to consider them that very critically important threshold beyond which the current political processes in this country will become irreversible, and the break with the empire - final and irrevocable.
