Kerim Veliev expressed condolences to Selçuk Bayraktaroğlu

The First Deputy Minister of Defense - Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan, Colonel-General Karim Veliyev expressed his condolences to the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Turkish Republic, Army General Selçuk Bayraktaroğlu.

This was reported to BAKU.WS by the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan.

The condolence message states:

"The news of the crash of the C-130 military transport aircraft, which was heading from Azerbaijan to Turkey and crashed near the border of Georgia and Azerbaijan, deeply saddened me.

I pray to the Almighty for mercy for the deceased servicemen, share the grief of their loved ones and express my deepest condolences to their families."
