Jeyhun Bayramov met with Wang Yi

Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister (MFA) Jeyhun Bayramov was warmly received in Beijing by his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi, after which expanded negotiations were held between the heads of the foreign affairs ministries.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to the press service of the AR MFA, during the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and prospects of the comprehensive strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and China, emphasizing the importance of maintaining active high-level political dialogue and regular contacts between the departments.

The negotiations addressed issues of deepening trade and economic cooperation, investment opportunities, development of coordination and transport corridors, cooperation in the energy sector, as well as cooperation in innovation and digital development.

In addition, the ministers exchanged views on regional and international processes, noting the importance of interaction on multilateral platforms.

Both sides expressed confidence that the visit would contribute to further strengthening bilateral relations and expanding practical cooperation in various fields.
