Jeyhun Bayramov met with the NATO delegation
Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov received a NATO delegation visiting the country.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the delegation includes permanent representatives of Turkey, Greece, Hungary, Montenegro, Netherlands, North Macedonia, Norway, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Czech Republic, Portugal, Spain to NATO, as well as deputy permanent representatives of the United States and France to NATO.
The meeting discussed the main aspects of Azerbaijan-NATO cooperation agenda, as well as regional and international security issues, the current state and prospects of the peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
Bayramov, speaking about the history of occupation, the current security situation in the region in the post-conflict period, informed the ambassadors about the agreements reached within the framework of the Washington Summit, and the prospects for peace, as well as plans for transport corridors in the region.
In addition, the mine threat in the region was also addressed during the meeting.
During the meeting, views were also exchanged on other issues of mutual interest.
