Jeyhun Bayramov met with Hakan Fidan in Gabala

Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov held a meeting with his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan in Gabala as part of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), which precedes the XII OTS Summit.

During the meeting, the ministers emphasized the successful development of brotherly relations and comprehensive alliance between Azerbaijan and Turkey. The heads of foreign ministries of the two countries discussed a wide range of issues, including political cooperation, security, defense, trade, energy, and transport.

The importance of solidarity and partnership within the Organization of Turkic States, which since 2009 has served as a platform for strengthening ties between Turkic-speaking countries, was particularly noted. The meeting also touched upon regional issues and other topics of mutual interest.
