Jeyhun Bayramov held talks with the Vice Prime Minister of Iraq

A telephone conversation took place between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov and the Deputy Prime Minister, Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Iraq Fuad Hussein.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to the foreign policy agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan, during the telephone conversation the ministers exchanged views on the military escalation and the tense security situation in the Middle East.

It was emphasized that all parties need to exercise restraint, refrain from steps that could lead to an increase in tensions, and prioritize diplomatic channels for resolving existing disagreements.

The heads of the agencies noted the importance of coordinated efforts by the international community, emphasizing that the protection of civilians and infrastructure is a priority task.

During the telephone conversation, other issues of mutual interest were also discussed.
