Jeyhun Bayramov discussed the situation in the South Caucasus with Kaja Kallas

Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov discussed the situation in the South Caucasus region with the head of European diplomacy Kaja Kallas.

As reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, the meeting took place on the sidelines of the 80th UN General Assembly in New York.

In particular, the parties discussed the ongoing peace process between Baku and Yerevan, and also exchanged views on the current state and prospects for the development of relations between Azerbaijan and the EU.

The heads of diplomacy also touched upon issues of strengthening political dialogue, expanding economic and trade cooperation, including in key sectors such as energy, transport, etc.
