Jeyhun Bayramov discussed strategic partnership with American diplomats

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov received the senior advisor of the Bureau for European and Eurasian Affairs of the US State Department Wyatt Tolkie and the Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy Amy Carlon.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of the Republic of Azerbaijan, during the meeting they discussed Azerbaijani-American relations, issues arising from the Memorandum of Understanding on the establishment of a Strategic Working Group to prepare the Charter on Strategic Partnership, the normalization process of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia and the implementation of the Washington agreements within this framework, as well as regional and international security issues of mutual interest.

The parties noted that mutual visits of officials and representatives of the two countries occupy an important place in the development of bilateral relations.

During the meeting, there was also an exchange of views on other issues of mutual interest.
