Azerbaijan demands official explanations from Iran as soon as possible regarding today's drone attack on Nakhchivan.
As reported by BAKU.WS, this was stated by Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov during a phone conversation with his Uzbekistani counterpart Bakhtiyor Saidov.
Baku demands that Tehran clarify the incident as soon as possible, provide official explanations, and take the necessary urgent measures to prevent the recurrence of such incidents in the future, according to the Foreign Ministry's statement following the phone conversation.
As a reminder, on March 5, unmanned aerial vehicles launched from the territory of Iran attacked targets on the territory of Nakhchivan. One of the drones hit the terminal building of Nakhchivan International Airport, and the second landed near a school building in the village of Shekerabab.
