Jeyhun Bayramov: Azerbaijan changed the regional dynamics in the South Caucasus
Azerbaijan is investing billions of dollars in the restoration of liberated territories – a former conflict zone, viewing this process as part of a long-term peace and cooperation strategy.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Report, this was stated by Azerbaijan's Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov at an event held within the framework of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku.
According to him, the large-scale restoration works in the liberated territories are not only an infrastructure project but also an important part of Azerbaijan's peacebuilding strategy.
"This is a strategy for building a better and more prosperous future for all," the Foreign Minister emphasized.
Bayramov noted that Azerbaijan's decisive steps have changed the regional dynamics in the South Caucasus.
"After the end of the years-long conflict and the full restoration of Azerbaijan's sovereignty and territorial integrity, the region is moving from years of instability toward real opportunities for peace and cooperation," the minister stated.
According to him, the elimination of one of the main threats to peace and security in the region has opened new prospects for regional interaction.
