Jeyhun Bayramov: 124 Israeli companies are actively working and implementing projects in Azerbaijan
We had the opportunity to discuss in detail the development of economic ties between our countries, their current state, many ongoing contracts and projects, as well as new opportunities and prospects. We are satisfied with cooperation in the economic sphere, where there are many new directions.
As reported by BAKU.WS, this was stated by Azerbaijan's Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov at a joint press conference with his Israeli counterpart Gideon Saar.
According to Bayramov, 124 Israeli companies are actively working and implementing projects in Azerbaijan.
"Traditionally, the energy sector is one of the largest areas of cooperation. Transport, agriculture, high technologies, water resource management, and cooperation in the space sector were assessed as areas of particular importance and prospects, and today we held discussions on these directions," added the head of Azerbaijani diplomacy.
He noted that when analyzing the results of last year, one of the most satisfactory areas is cooperation and results in tourism: "Based on the results of 11 months of 2025, the number of tourists from Israel to Azerbaijan has increased more than twofold compared to 2024. Maintaining this positive dynamic is also one of the priorities."
