JD Vance: Azerbaijanis have earned themselves a reputation as the toughest and fiercest fighters in the world

I convey to you and to all the Azerbaijani people personal greetings from the President of the United States.

As reported by AZERTAC, this was stated by US Vice President JD Vance in a joint press statement with President Ilham Aliyev.

He noted that the US and Azerbaijan have been carrying out important strategic cooperation for a long time:

"Many may not know this, but Azerbaijanis were among the last to leave Afghanistan. Working in very difficult conditions, they earned a reputation as some of the toughest and fiercest fighters in the world."
