Jahangir Novruzov awarded honorary diploma of the President

Jahangir Novruzov awarded "Honorary Diploma of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan".

As reported by BAKU.WS, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed a corresponding decree.

He was honored with this award for his contributions to strengthening friendship between peoples and developing the Azerbaijani diaspora.

It should be noted that People's Artist of Azerbaijan Jahangir Novruzov, who created memorable characters in many feature films and television performances, is a representative of one of the most famous theatrical dynasties in Azerbaijan. He continues the glorious traditions of his family, being the grandson of Jahangir Zeynalov, one of the first professional actors in Azerbaijan, and the son of the legendary People's Artist Nasiba Zeynalova.

Novruzov currently works in the theater department of the State Conservatory of Cukurova University in Adana. Before leaving for Turkey, he worked in Azerbaijan as a stage director and chief director in several theaters, and also performed various roles in television performances and films.
