Ilham Aliyev: We have started gas deliveries to Syria, from where we can also supply gas to neighboring countries

We are supplying gas to markets that we couldn't have even imagined in previous years, for example, to Syria. From Syria, we can also supply gas to neighboring countries, where there is also great demand for gas.

As reported by AZERTAJ, President Ilham Aliyev stated this at the opening of the IV Shusha Global Media Forum.

"In our contacts with European partners, we convey to them that we need long-term contracts and that it is necessary to jointly expand the existing gas transportation system," the head of state noted.
