As reported by BAKU.WS, this was stated by President Ilham Aliyev in a press statement with German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier.

Expressing confidence that the German President's visit to Azerbaijan will have very positive results, the head of state emphasized: "This is the first official visit of the German President to Azerbaijan in the history of bilateral relations, and I am confident that its results will bring our countries even closer together."
