Ilham Aliyev: The Turkic world is turning into one of the influential geopolitical centers of power

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, in his address to the participants of the Turkic World Week dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the First Turcology Congress, drew attention to the growing role of Turkic states on the international stage.

The report notes that the capital of Azerbaijan is hosting yet another significant event.

It is stated that the Turkic World Week, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the First Turcology Congress, has commenced its work. At the opening ceremony, President Ilham Aliyev's address to the participants of the event was read out.

"The Turkic world family is on the path to becoming one of the influential power centers of the century, worthy of our ancestors who created a great civilization. We will continue to make every effort to strengthen and preserve the inviolability of this family," the head of the Azerbaijani state emphasized in his address.
