Projects for providing drinking water and irrigation have also always been at the center of attention. The citizens of Azerbaijan remember well that at one time this was one of the most serious issues that concerned people. These issues have also gradually found their solution. Today, in most of our cities, drinking water supply projects, sewage-related projects have been implemented, and this process continues.

This was stated by the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev during his speech at a meeting dedicated to the State Program for improving water supply, rainwater and wastewater systems in the city of Baku and the Absheron Peninsula for 2026-2035.
