The dynamic socio-economic development of our republic, the fair transition to a green economy, and the impact of artificial intelligence on the labor market pose responsible and strategic tasks for trade unions, encouraging them to be more active.

As reported by AZERTAG, this was stated in the address of President Ilham Aliyev to the participants of the VIII Congress of the Confederation of Trade Unions of Azerbaijan.

The address notes that, acting as the main partner in the social dialogue between workers and employers, as well as a defender of labor values, trade unions should actively participate in the process of strengthening professional associations, educating workers, and improving their knowledge and skills in the field of labor rights. "All this serves the proper regulation of labor relations, ensuring social justice and mutual responsibility," the President's address emphasizes.
