Ilham Aliyev: Slovakia and Azerbaijan are friendly countries and strategic partners

The negotiations we conducted during the visit show that Slovakia and Azerbaijan, in the true sense of the word, are friendly countries and strategic partners.

As reported by AZERTAG, this was said by President Ilham Aliyev in a statement to the press with the President of Slovakia Peter Pellegrini.

Recalling that last year Slovakia and Azerbaijan signed a Joint Declaration on Strategic Partnership, the head of our state noted that this is a document that brings our relations to the highest level.

"After its signing, we see very active cooperation in all directions," emphasized the President of Azerbaijan.
