Ilham Aliyev: Research conducted by think tanks creates an important foundation for addressing global challenges

The role of think tanks in the development of states and societies in the modern world is extremely significant. Their research in various fields creates an important foundation for addressing global challenges - problems in the areas of security, economy, technology, and ecology.

As reported by AZERTAG, this was stated in the address of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to the participants of the 13th session of the CICA Think Tank Forum titled "Resonance of Development and Security: Regional Cooperation and Governance in the Institutional Transformation of CICA".

The head of state noted that think tanks contribute to more effective and calibrated decision-making both at national and international levels. From this perspective, cooperation between analytical centers of CICA countries opens favorable prospects for strengthening mutual understanding between countries and peoples, and deepening regional integration.
