Ilham Aliyev: One of Azerbaijan's goals is to become a regional center for artificial intelligence
One of Azerbaijan's goals is to become a regional center for artificial intelligence, a center of information technology, and I think we have the potential for this.
As reported by AZERTAJ, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said this on January 5 in an interview with local TV channels.
Noting that Azerbaijan is working with partners to create data centers, the head of state said: "Our plans and already implemented projects, including the creation of a cybersecurity center and training our specialists - we send many specialists for training abroad, as well as organize training courses in Azerbaijan - allow us, along with the development of communications, to become a hub for artificial intelligence and information technology. The potential is there. There is strong political will. And, of course, we consider American companies as our main partners."
