Ilham Aliyev noted Shavkat Mirziyoyev's great contribution to the development of Uzbek-Azerbaijani relations

President Ilham Aliyev, speaking at the 7th Consultative Meeting of the Heads of Central Asian States in Tashkent, noted the great contribution of Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the development of Uzbek-Azerbaijani relations.

As reported by BAKU.WS the head of state said: "Shavkat Miromonovich is not only a wise statesman, but also a person who has made a great contribution to the development of Uzbek-Azerbaijani relations. In Azerbaijan, he is loved and respected for concrete actions, for his kind attitude toward our people. Being a far-sighted politician, Shavkat Miromonovich clearly sees the necessity of closer interaction between the countries of Central Asia and Azerbaijan".
