Ilham Aliyev laid the foundation for the engineering faculty building of Karabakh University in Khankendi

On December 23, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev laid the foundation for the engineering faculty building of Karabakh University in the city of Khankendi.

As reported by BAKU.WS, the head of state was informed about the conditions that will be created in the building.

The Engineering Faculty of Karabakh University is one of the main academic structural divisions of this university, responding to modern technological challenges and aimed at training modern engineering personnel. Currently, 19 professors and teachers, as well as administrative and technical staff work at the faculty. 314 students are studying here.

At the bachelor's level, the faculty provides training in 7 specialties, including electrical engineering and electronics, construction, mechatronics and robotics, logistics and transport technologies, computer engineering, data analytics and mathematics. In the future, new engineering specialties are planned to be opened.

It is planned to build a new building in accordance with modern standards and put it into operation in a short time. The educational building will be equipped with classrooms, laboratories, a library, research and innovation spaces that ensure the training of qualified personnel, the development of students' theoretical knowledge and practical skills, as well as the expansion of their innovative activities.

The implementation of the project will make a significant contribution to the development of engineering education, as well as serve to form an advanced higher education environment that promotes the implementation of modern academic content and innovative teaching methods, as well as supports the comprehensive development of students.
