In Azerbaijan, wrestling as a sport has great traditions, which we preserve.

As reported by BAKU.WS, this was stated by President Ilham Aliyev during a meeting with wrestlers who became team champions at the European Championship, and their coaches.

"I am glad that along with well-known wrestlers, our young athletes are also achieving high results. This indicates that the training process and the selection process are properly organized," the head of state noted.
