Ilham Aliyev: I Consider the Award Ceremony of the "Zayed Award for Human Fraternity" Symbolic

And the last thing I would like to say about this award ceremony here in Abu Dhabi: I consider it symbolic.

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said this at the ceremony of awarding the "Zayed Award for Human Fraternity" in the capital of the United Arab Emirates, Abu Dhabi.

"The last round of negotiations between Armenia and Azerbaijan took place here in July of last year, just a month before the historic summit in Washington. Here, in Abu Dhabi, with the support of our brother Sheikh Mohammed, we came to a final agreement on establishing peace, and then officially sealed it in Washington. So today the air is filled with symbolism, and I would like once again to express gratitude to everyone who made the decision to honor us with this honorable and prestigious award, as well as to everyone who helped us achieve peace," the head of state added.
