Ilham Aliyev familiarized himself with the activities of the cotton processing plant in Sabirabad

On October 28, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev familiarized himself with the activities of the cotton processing plant of Limited Liability Company (LLC) Taşobası in the Sabirabad industrial quarter.

As reported by BAKU.WS, the cotton processing plant of Taşobası LLC, registered as a resident of the Sabirabad industrial quarter in 2023, produces cotton fiber and technical cotton seeds using Turkish, German and Italian technologies.

The projected cost of the plant is 3.3 million manats, and its production capacity is 8 thousand tons of cotton fiber, 10,000 tons of technical seeds per year. The manufactured products are directed to meeting the needs of the domestic market and for export. To date, products worth 2.6 million manats have been sold, of which 2.2 million manats account for exports. The plant uses cotton grown in Neftchala, Salyan, Sabirabad and Saatly regions as raw material. This, in turn, makes it possible to provide seasonal work in cotton fields for 300 people. A total of 80 jobs have been created at the plant.
