Ilham Aliyev congratulated the president of North Macedonia
President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev sent a congratulatory letter to the President of the Republic of North Macedonia Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova.
As reported by AZERTAG, the message states:
"Dear Madam President,
On my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan, I cordially congratulate you and through you all your people on the national holiday - Independence Day of the Republic of North Macedonia.
The current dynamics of the development of relations between Azerbaijan and North Macedonia is satisfying. Our ties built on a healthy foundation and fruitful joint activities serve the interests of our countries and peoples. Your official visit to Azerbaijan in March gave a new impetus to friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries.
Today, there are good opportunities to further deepen our interstate cooperation in a number of areas and fill it with new content. The high level of political ties and our active dialogue create a good foundation for this.
I believe that friendly relations and cooperation between Azerbaijan and North Macedonia will continue to successfully develop and strengthen through our joint efforts, both on a bilateral basis and within the framework of international organizations.
On this wonderful day, I wish you good health, happiness, success in your endeavors, and to your friendly people - constant well-being and prosperity".
