Ilham Aliyev congratulated the President of Iraq

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev sent a congratulatory letter to the President of the Republic of Iraq Abdel Latif Jamal Rashid.

As reported by BAKU.WS, the message states:

"Dear Mr. President,

On my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan, I extend to you and all your people the warmest congratulations on the occasion of the national holiday of the Republic of Iraq.

I highly appreciate our recent meeting with you in New York and the exchange of views we held. I am confident that we will continue to make joint efforts to strengthen Azerbaijani-Iraqi relations and to fully utilize the potential of our mutually beneficial cooperation both at the bilateral and multilateral levels.

On this significant day, I wish you good health, happiness, success in your endeavors, and constant well-being and prosperity to the friendly Iraqi people".
