Ilham Aliyev congratulated Aleksandar Vučić

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev sent a congratulatory letter to President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić.

As reported by BAKU.WS, the message states:

"Dear Mr. President,

On my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan, I cordially congratulate you and, through you, your entire nation on the occasion of the national holiday of the Republic of Serbia, and extend my most sincere wishes.

The current level of relations with Serbia, which is a friendly country and our reliable strategic partner, is gratifying. Today, our relations of friendship and cooperation, built on such solid foundations as mutual support and trust, are comprehensively developing and being filled with new content. Undoubtedly, regular mutual visits at the highest level and our active political dialogue create conditions for even more rapid development of these ties and strengthening of our strategic partnership. I recall with the most pleasant impressions our recent meeting with you in Davos.

I am confident that through our joint efforts we will achieve further expansion of the traditionally friendly relations between Azerbaijan and Serbia, mutually beneficial cooperation on both bilateral and multilateral basis in the interests of our peoples, as well as even greater deepening of our strategic partnership.
