Ilham Aliyev called Shavkat Mirziyoyev

On July 24, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev called his Uzbek counterpart Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

As reported by AZERTAG, the head of state congratulated Shavkat Mirziyoyev on his birthday, wishing him health and new successes in his activities.

The President of Uzbekistan expressed gratitude for the attention and congratulations.

The Presidents of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan touched upon the role of high-level mutual visits in the development of our relations. In this context, they noted the fruitful discussions held during Shavkat Mirziyoyev's state visit to our country in early July, the documents signed, as well as the participation of the President of Uzbekistan in the Economic Cooperation Organization summit in the city of Khankendi.

The heads of state expressed confidence that the brotherly, friendly and allied relations between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan will successfully develop in all areas in the future, and discussed the prospects for cooperation on the bilateral agenda.
