Ilham Aliyev: Azerbaijan is investing heavily in modern railway and road infrastructure

Today our countries play a leading role in the development of East-West and North-South corridors. Azerbaijan is making large investments in modern railway and road infrastructure, as well as air transport and seaport infrastructure.

As reported by BAKU.WS, this is stated in the address of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to the participants of the international conference on "The Role of Special Services in Ensuring the Security of International Transport Routes".

"We view these transport and communication routes not only as a source of economic prosperity, but at the same time as an important basis for closer integration of Turkic states in the political, cultural spheres, in the field of defense and security," the head of state's address emphasizes.
